Job Descriptions:

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for daily and strategic management of multiple production lines and front-line supervision. This position works in collaboration with Safety, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance stakeholders to ensure assigned team(s) are in compliance, meeting customer demand and within budgeted costs. Through partnership with HR, the Manufacturing Manager ensures an inclusive labor environment, staffed to operate in compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities
1. Leads and manages team of front-line supervisors to meet production build plans while meeting safety and quality guidelines

  • Responsible for ensuring proper training and adherence to all Safety policies and promoting a safe work environment culture
  • Performance Management & coaching / mentoring of direct associates
  • Responsible for Cross-Training and Job Rotation programs within department
  • Responsible for maintaining qualified trainers within the department
  • Responsible for frequent communications with associates through the Tiered Management System
  • Responsible for assisting in Quality investigations (Corrective and Preventative Actions), yield, and continuous improvement projects
  • Mentor lead(s) and front-line supervisor(s)

2. Ensure customer delivery targets are met; collaborate with planning on an achievable level set schedules and optimize associate resources
3. Participate in monthly financial forecasting, annual budget process, and ensure financial targets are achieved
4. Participate and drive continuous improvement actions through evolution of standardized work

Educational Qualifications & Previous Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Operations, or Business-related field)
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment demonstrating team building, change management and servant leadership
  • 3 or more years of utilizing MS Office to conduct daily business with strong MS Excel skills

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet initial timelines
  • Organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills
  • Time Management
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement programs

Desired / Additional Skills & Knowledge

  • Ability to understand process flow and value stream maps
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Any additional Information

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Days and hours of work require flexibility to support your team(s)

i. Manufacturing teams may work 8, 10, or 12 hours shifts
ii. Days of coverage are dependent upon manufacturing needs

  • Travel in and outside of the US may be required to support complex project planning and collaboration.
  • Ability to comply with applicable quality regulations as identified by the organization

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $41.72 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Moncks Corner, SC 29461: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
