Student and Young Alumni Programs Coordinator

The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. (UTFI), UT Knoxville Alumni Affairs is seeking a Student and Young Alumni Programs Coordinator to support the development, planning, and execution of meaningful programs and activities that engage students and young alumni in the life of the university, the Division of Advancement, and the UT Knoxville Office of Alumni Relations. This position will provide administrative support for the Senior Director of Student and Young Alumni Programs and the Associate Director of Student and Young Alumni Programs.

Job Duties:

• Oversee and support student alumni outreach, communication, and engagement with first- and second-year students.
• Serve as the Alumni Relations Liaison to Undergraduate Admissions.
• Oversee philanthropic-commerce for student and young alumni program opportunities, such as Vol for Life children’s program and student BEAT Boxes, etc.
• Assist with Student and Young Alumni programming as needed.
• Serve as administrative support for the Student and Young Alumni Programs team.
• Additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience in an office setting is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with organization and an eye for detail when completing tasks.

A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required due to travel responsibilities of the position. UTFI reserves the right to consider all appropriate circumstances. In general, any significant driving offense less than 12 months old will eliminate the application from consideration for the position.
