Structural Designer- CB Job at iLink Resources, Inc.

iLink Resources, Inc. Brookhaven, GA

We are looking for a Sr. Structural Designer with working experience with Revit to join our team in Atlanta, GA.
Projects will include process, corporate, airports, institutional, industrial, manufacturing, microgrids, government and military facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation of detailed construction drawings for steel and reinforced concrete structures using structural specifications.
  • Lead a full range of drawing production work including problem analysis, design layout and calculations on non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
  • Quality review of 2D drafting and 3D modeling tasks.
  • Execute a variety of assignments using prescribed methods and standards.
  • Responsible for quality review of structural designs or sketches and redlines or mark-ups on ongoing projects.
  • Design and draft structural elements and details.
  • Review design drawings within scope, budget and schedule.
  • Incorporate schedules, budgets and project criteria into structural design and layouts.
  • Approve all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project-related information in a logical and well-structured manner.
  • Train, mentor, and develop less experienced drafting, detailing and design staff members.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in drafting technology or related field and thirteen years related experience or associate's degree. Fourteen years related experience or fifteen years progressive detailing and design experience.
  • Must have working experience with Revit and prefer experience with AutoCAD, BIM 360, and MicroStation.
  • Expert understanding of planning, managing, organizing, setup, documenting, and delivering complex BIM models and related digital products across diverse project teams.
  • Experience with training team members
  • Establishing BIM standards and implementing BIM best practices.
  • Expert knowledge in the theory and practices of structural discipline.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others (Project Managers, Engineers and Designers) in a multi-discipline project team environment to resolve design or drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives.

Pay range: $60-75hr (Depending on experience)
