Sr. HR Business Partner – Career Growth Opportunity
Starting Annual Base Salary $75,000 to $90,000 plus incentive opportunity
Under general guidance from the VP HR and VP Retail & Restaurant Operations, you will plan, organize, and manage all aspects of the HR services delivery to two Southern California markets/cafés staffed by approximately 100 team members that delight our guests every day. Partner with site and corporate management to design and deliver state-of-the-art programs that attract, develop, engage, and energize our retail team members to deliver best-in-class service to our guests.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Plan and execute innovative and effective online recruitment campaigns for FOH and BOH positions
· Interview and evaluate applicants. Formulate employment offers.
· Participate in the critical onboarding process
· Provide leadership development and training to line managers to enable them to coach their team members effectively
· Manage performance review and merit increase cycles
· Counsel team members and management to resolve potential conflict and to achieve effective working relationships
· Execute fact finding investigations
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal employment laws/regulations
· Interprets company policies
· Collaborate with company HR peers to evaluate and to develop innovative programs and services
· Fully utilize company HCM systems to maintain data integrity to provide management with valid and actionable HR data, KPI’s, and dashboards
Desired Professional Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· 3 years’ experience in HR generalist functions, including recruitment, employee relations, regulatory compliance, training, and HRIS
· Strong preference for experience gained in foodservice, markets, multi-site retail environments
· Strong preference for HRIS experience with Ceridian Dayforce or similar HCM platforms
· Prefer SHRM-CP and/or PHRCA
