Requirements:

The role of this position is to effectively manage and execute projects in our Pentagon portfolio, and effectively communicate with superintendents, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects meet designated timelines and budgets. Applicants should meet the following criteria:

1. At least 10 years of design-build construction management experience

2. BS degree in construction management or an engineering related field

3. One of the following certifications or registrations:

a. Active CCM (Certified Construction Manager) certified by the Construction Manager Certification Institute

b. Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certificate by the Project Management Institute

c. Active CPC (Active Certified Professional Constructor) certified by the American Institute of Constructors and Constructor Certification Commission

d. Active Designated Design-Build Professional certification administered by DBIA

e. Active Licensed Professional Registration in VA, MD, DC, or PA.

If you do not have one of the Certifications above, then you must have an additional 10 years of Construction Management experience, including at least 10 years of Design-Build construction management experience.

4. Ability to acquire security clearance at Secret Level or higher.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish.

2. Organize and oversee construction procedures, ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner

3. Ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

4. Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met.

5. Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.

6. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored properly.

7. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.

8. Determine needed resources from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.

9. Identify, track, manage and resolve project issues.

10. Hold progress meetings with Clients.

11. Prepare subcontracts and purchase orders.

12. Continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

13. Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
