Farnsworth Group is seeking a
Sr. CAD Technician – Oil & Gas in our
Denver, CO office. In this role, you will work with our Oil & Gas Group in the planning, drafting, design, and permitting of industrial projects.
Job Activities:
- Create civil site drawings from topographical survey data
- Prepare Subsurface Utility Engineering plans from survey data
- Prepare new pipeline alignment drawings, construction workspace plans, and erosion control plans
- Prepare foundation and structural steel detail drawings under direction of a Structural Engineer
- Assemble complete drawing packages for permitting, bidding, and construction purposes
Specific Requirements include:
- 5 – 15 years of experience in Computer-Aided drafting
- Experience with underground utility design
- Associates degree in Computer-Aided Drafting
- Proficient in Autodesk Civil3D
- Ability to effectively plan time commitments on multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to work independently or on a team with employees in multiple locations
- Experience with MicroStation preferred

Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
