Immediate position available for a Construction Project Manager to join our team. Position focuses in commercial construction. Specifically Section 10 Specialties. Must have general knowledge of the construction industry and activities. Candidate should have the ability to read architectural drawings and understand technical specifications. Must be ambitious, organized, customer focused and self-motivated. Duties will include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, owners, and contractors
- Preparing take-off’s, quotes, submittals, purchase orders, and closeouts
- Coordinate field measuring when necessary
- Developing schedules and sequencing of work
- Ensure cost control by managing material purchases, installation costs, and reviewing contingency resources
- Submit and review change orders, while effectively communicating issues and developing resolutions.
- Working with onsite foreman to handle potential issues while ensuring project is completed on time and on budget
- Ensuring project quality by periodically traveling to jobsite and conducting walk throughs with site foreman
- Submit monthly billings based on completed work
- Providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients
This is a full-time position based in Akron, NY .
Salary commensurate with level of experience.
