OneSource Search & Rescue was founded in 2014 by Andrew Mavar, a veteran in the Military with 8 years of experience in Tactical Combat Casualty Care. After witnessing firsthand the challenges of providing timely and effective medical care at large-scale events, Andrew saw an opportunity to create a specialized service that could help event organizers manage medical emergencies more efficiently.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you looking to be part of a fun fast paced environment? Do you enjoy watching motocross? We have an opportunity to work as stand-by EMT at this event in Los Angeles County.

Onesource Search & Rescue is looking for Part-time and or On-call 1099 Contractors who would like to work at LACR Mx. Current hours of operations vary from 8:00 AM- 1:00 PM and or 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM (weekends) based on the clients needs. There are opportunities for more than 5 hour shifts depending if it's a race day or not.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Current EMT Basic skills and abilities
  • Delivers high quality patient care and customer service within the prescribed scope of practice of LA County, established protocols and company policies
  • Completes all appropriate documentation as outlined in company policy
  • Reports all problems and unusual occurrences immediately to the Lead EMT/Manager
  • Maintains a professional appearance by adhering to hygiene and uniforms standards.
  • Conduct Inventory checks/organize/restock
  • Other Duties as defined may not be listed.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace (i.e. medical bags, medical equipment, company vehicles, medical supplies, and more)

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work in an outside environment. Temps can vary depending on the session.

Aptitudes required for work of this nature are good physical stamina, endurance, and body condition that would not be adversely affected by frequently having to walk, stand, lift, carry and balance at times.

Must be able to lift, drag, hoist and carry different types of equipment and other objects.

Education/Certifications/Requirements:

  • CA Drivers’ License
  • State of California EMT License and NREMT (NREMT is a added plus, but not required)
  • Current BLS Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Health Care Provider. Hand written cards are not acceptable)
  • Reliable means of communication (Email, Phone Call, or Text)
