The Solar Funding Agent is a vital part of the solar project lifecycle, ensuring that all projects are reviewed and audited in a timely manner. This role is the gatekeeper to all Solar deals and will ensure that only clean deals are entering the Project Management Pipeline as well as ensuring secured financing is in place to move the project forward. It is vital that sales reps and customers are notified quickly of any pertinent issues that may stop or hinder the progression of a clean deal.

Objective:

Move accounts quickly through the initial phase of the Solar Lifecycle up through Secured Financing. By utilizing systems, technology, and people we will enhance the project lifecycle.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Display a basic understanding of Solar.
  • Accurately scrub data submitted by the sales teams and determine project viability or needs.
  • Examine Contracts and finance information to ensure accuracy.
  • Review and modify sold scope of work data against Finance Company requirements.
  • Manage missing paperwork to ensure all required documents are received and uploaded.
  • Act as point of contact with sales Reps on their projects up through NTP (Secured Financing)
  • Prepare solutions for jobs that need additional work to move past NTP.
  • Generate new solar documents or loan documents as customers situations or the scope of project changes or as errors may occur.
  • Proactively communicate pertinent project updates via all internal and external systems.
  • Daily follow up of all existing projects in the pipeline that fall within your purview (Regionally or office based).
  • When necessary, reaching out to Sale Representatives or Customers to obtain any needs to progress deals past NTP.
  • Submit accounts through the initial Funding process.
  • Position will require Full Time in Office for a minimum of 30 days.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Solar Experience is preferred but not required.
  • Previous Customer Service Experience required.
  • Ability to develop solutions to difficult problems.
  • Learn Quickly and assimilate knowledge to improve the way we approach work.
  • Well organized, thorough, and an ability to self-manage.
  • Reliability and Regular attendance.
  • Proficient G suite (sheets, Docs, etc.) as well as all Microsoft (word, excel, etc.)
  • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and text.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes.
  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
