KeyStaff is seeking to hire a qualified Shipping Lead for a packaging company located in Garland, TX!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am to 5:30pm

Compensation: $16.50 to $18.00 per hour/weekly pay

Temp to Hire

The Shipping Lead is responsible for coordinating and supervising shipping department in manufacturing environment. Schedules and dispatches shipments to trucking companies. Supervises and coordinates activities with picking product and preparing per customer specification for outbound shipment.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and manage work force to meet daily operational demands
• Schedule outbound shipments through various carriers
• Prepare documentation for both domestic and international shipments
• Ensures correct shipment of orders to customers
• Communicate any issues in daily production meeting
• Administrative duties including creating Bills of Lading and shipping labels, data entry, etc
• Other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications/Requirments:

• 1-2 years of Shipping & Receiving Lead experience
• 2-3 years of Shipping & Receiving experience
• 2-3 years of Forklift experience
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
• Time management skills
• Must have clean criminal background
