How you’ll make an impact:

As a part of the Platform Engineering Delivery team you’ll be responsible for implementation of the SiriusXM Cloud Platform from the perspective of software delivery, as well as ensuring smooth operation of the on-prem-based services / automation involving delivery and automated testing during the time of migration to the cloud. One of our key organizational principles is “platform as a product,” recognizing that our developer platform should be treated as a set of products offered to our thousand-plus internal customers, rather than a running backlog of technical support requests. The perfect fit for this role is someone excited about driving that approach as we build a low-friction, highly productive platform for our users.

What you’ll do:

• Work as part of the Delivery and DevEx teams on architecting CI/CD best practices, templates, testing automation, security scanning as well as improving developer experience in AWS ecosystem

• Architect, design and develop general automation to help application teams be successful using JavaScript and Python

• Maintain HashiCorp infrastructure (Consul, Nomad, and Vault) as well as customizations around it

• Maintain IaC around infrastructure designed to operate Subscriber Management System, Enterprise Service Bus, and Axway platforms

What you’ll need:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• In-depth understanding of DevOps, related processes and tooling

• 8+ years of experience with AWS

• 10+ years of experience with software development (JavaScript, Python, Java)

• 8+ years working with container and container orchestration technologies

• 5+ years of experience with HashiCorp products (Consul, Nomad, Vault)

• 5+ years of experience with IaC (Terraform, CDK, Ansible)

• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $180,000 to $200,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
