McLaughlin Research Corporation is a full life cycle engineering and technical services company, partnering with our customers to support a wide range of Department of Defense weapon, combat, and sensor system programs.
The Senior Software Engineer position will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) which conducts research, development, test, and evaluation, in-service support of mine warfare systems, mines, naval special warfare systems, diving and life support systems, amphibious/ expeditionary maneuver warfare systems, and other missions that occur primarily in coastal (littoral) regions.
Requirements:
· Six years of progressively responsible experience in one or more fourth generation Object Oriented programming languages such as (C++ 11/14, Java, etc.) in several operating environments such as Windows, Linux, and experience using Agile (SCRUM) software development techniques and open, modular architecture software development.
· Experience in analysis, troubleshooting, installation, retrofit, maintenance, user console hardware and software interoperability, test and evaluation, and independent verification and validation for products developed by other manufacturers or Contractors.
· A Bachelor’s degree in software, computer science, mathematics, or similar technical discipline from an accredited university.
· US Citizenship required. Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one required.
Position is contingent upon contract award.
