Xerox is seeking a Senior Network Manager to join our team!

In this position, the talented network architect will maintain, enhance, and evolve Xerox's engineering infrastructure and tools.

You will be responsible for assessing the needs of the multi-disciplined engineering team that includes software, electrical, and mechanical staff in multiple locations/geographies, and abiding by standards set by the CIO and CSO when designing and implementing computer networking systems and tools maintaining network security.

You will also be required to lead an offshore staff and manage a yearly spending plan. You must be organized, articulate, and a good problem-solver. Finally, you must keep an eye on new technological innovations, procedures, and plans for possible evolution.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting with engineering teams to discuss their applications, systems, and networking requirements and making themselves available to advise and consult.
• Assessing the quality and flexibility of the current systems.
• Understand how changes will affect different aspects of the business, such as business processes and functions, data, and application and infrastructural changes.
• Work to consider what future changes may be needed, including adding more advanced technologies.
• Develop yearly project plan, managing updates and changes throughout the year.
• Oversee a multi-site team, responsible for the engineering applications and infrastructure.
• Create a project roadmap(s) showing how things should progress from the current state.
• Evaluate current security aspects of the environment and ensure compliance with corporate requirements.
• Maintain a yearly budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar field.
• Proven experience working as a network architect.
• Detailed knowledge of WAN and LAN networking systems and software.
• Detailed knowledge of Virtualization and Cloud systems.
• Good understanding of software engineering processes & principles.
• Knowledge of computer hardware systems.
• Excellent analytical and design skills.
• Detail-oriented with advanced project management skills, handling issues like prioritization, resource management, and time management.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate and present vision(s) to all management levels and any required experts.
• Ability to act as a leader, clarifying goals and expectations, and keep everyone on the right track.
