Description

Under limited supervision, operating with medium direction and supported by coaching and mentorship, works with cutting edge security solutions that are located within Liberty Mutual physical data centers and cloud environments. Responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and monitoring the overall security posture of the organization. Partners with teams across the company to continually optimize our security posture while maintaining a hyper focus on the reliability and stability of our business environments.

Responsibilities

Supports in house security application development and data analytics. Develops, deploys, and supports security solutions globally both on prem and in cloud environments. Supports service delivery, technology configurations, administration of security tools, technical security investigations and assessments. Prioritize and drive security remediation efforts. Acts as a senior member of an agile team focused on security analysis, application design and development, documentation, testing, implementation and support for highly complex security systems and processes. Serves as a senior team member supporting security projects or subprojects of increasing complexity. Understands and helps articulate applicable, security requirements implications. Identifies possible process improvements that address functional and technology gaps. Analyzes and prepares complex technology enabled recommendations to address security gaps.

• Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Generally, 5+ years of professional experience
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in: Excel, PowerBI, Python, & Lambda/Fargate
  • Intermediate or advanced skills in: Nessus, Contrast, InsightAppSec and other vulnerability scanning products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills... strong negotiation skills
  • Intermediate consultative skills, including the ability to understand and assist in applying customer requirements
  • Comfortable with agile working environments
  • Collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills required
  • Proficient in new and emerging technologies, IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies, as well as security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols
  • Expert proficiency in workplace adaptability
  • Industry cybersecurity and/or technology certifications are a plus
