PROGRAM

We have openings in several programs. These programs and the hours are described below:

The Vista Hill Learning Assistance Center Program and Mental Health Contracts Program are teams of therapists, behavioral rehabilitation staff, and psychiatrists who provide comprehensive treatment and work in a seamless and integrated manner at school locations with teachers, school counselors and administrators. Clinical staff address school related issues and help students succeed with academics, social interactions, and improve family relationships. We have openings in Escondido and Ramona. These are both full time, Monday- Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.

Screening to Care is funded by the County of San Diego and works closely with partnering school districts to provide behavioral health screening to middle school age youth, develop and implement psycho-educational programming to teach social emotional skills to youth at risk, and work with students and families needing behavioral health treatment access care through local providers. This innovative project will benefit hundreds of youth from an early age. Bilingual Required, based in Escondido. Full time, Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm.

POSITION

The Clinician is responsible for the clinical integrity, assessment, planning and delivery of mental health services to the student and family. She/he assures that all provided services, program documentation, and billing are consistent with company policies and various county and community contracts and any federal, state, county, and district requirements. Duties include:

  • Provide school based counseling/mental health services to school-age students.
  • Practice as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide clinical assessments, intervention and support to students.
  • Complete proper clinical documentation in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's Degree
  • ACSW/AMFT/APHA/APCC, registration or License in good standing with the CA Board of Behavioral Science.
  • Experience working in school-based mental health program, mental health clinic, day treatment facility or other behavioral health setting.
  • 2-4 years professional experience in working with high risk youth.
  • Experience and knowledge in assessment and treatment of children and adolescents.
  • Valid CA drivers license and reliable transportation required.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Must pass background check, drug test, TB test and COVID vaccine requirements.

HOURS

Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week, school hours.

PAY

$31 for Registered

$35 for Licensed

These are starting rates and may be adjusted up based on education and experience.

Current Vista Hill employees in these job titles for 2023 are paid:

$31 – $35 for Registered; and

$35 - $37.50 for Licensed

BENEFITS

Employees working over 30 hours a week receive employer-paid benefits, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off (vacation and sick leave), paid holidays, employer-paid retirement contribution and clinical supervision (if applicable). Some programs qualify for student loan forgiveness programs.

Employees who work less than 30 hours a week do not qualify for healthcare benefits.
