Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coach your team assuring the salon’s standards are being met. Provide leadership, guidance and motivation to your staff. Ability to identify and mentor potential leaders of the organization.
  • Maximize the shop's financial potential and create strategic plans to increase retail sales. Understand and optimize your shop's P&L. Perform monthly inventory, minimize shrink, and maintain ordering levels.
  • Execute operations, marketing, and human resources objectives in the shop. Manage employee schedules, timekeeping and payroll reporting for your staff.
  • Build relationships with clientele, ensuring that our clients experience exceptional services.
  • Resolve employee relations and customer issues ensuring the company is protected against liability with a mindfulness of shop morale and culture.
  • Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and retaining high quality candidates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local beauty schools, trade associations, and salon owners in your community.

Qualifications:

  • Cosmetology license and salon experience is required
  • Preferably 2+ years of demonstrated management experience. Previous experience in managing at least 15 direct reports and a proven track record in growing sales.
  • Must have a positive personality and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including an ability to communicate and engage with confidence with guests and co-workers.
  • A genuine passion for quality, sales and unparalleled customer service. Results oriented, metrics driven approach.
  • Strong leadership presence with an ability to identify, problem solve, set expectations, goals, and delegate tasks to your team in an ever-changing work environment.
  • Inventory management and scheduling experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Flexibility work schedule; including availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • A polished, professional appearance at all times
