Job Description

Our mission is to build a flexible and powerful IoT software stack that lets companies bring IoT solutions to market quickly & provides robust customization as they grow their business. We accelerate time to value and lower the total cost of ownership without sacrificing the inherent flexibility required for different use cases and verticals. Companies like Google, Yamaha, and Cox Communications leverage our stack to power their commercially available IoT solutions and platforms.

As a Sales & Marketing Manager at Leverege, you'll be an essential part of helping Leverege to grow and market our different product offerings. This is a unique, hybrid, customer-facing role with elements of product marketing, IoT product enablement, and consultative sales. We’re looking for a builder—someone who’s proactive in addressing gaps early and ensuring we're learning as a company. You’ll help us write the playbook and redefine success for marketing & sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assessment calls with prospective customers to identify their IoT goals
  • Act as the bridge between our prospective customers and our product team, helping to provide market & feature insights
  • Schedule and present effective sales presentations & product demonstrations
  • Continuously improve client and sales outreach strategies with other departments in the organization to optimize the business development process
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs
  • Manage, track, and report on all sales & marketing activities and results
  • Become a Leverage product expert with the ability to fully demo the product to agency prospects by qualifying and selling our value
  • Maintain social media and email marketing campaigns

Success Profile

  • You are a builder with ambition who wants to grow with the company
  • You have experience in a customer-facing role, ideally working with enterprise clients and senior executives
  • You have sales/upsell/cross-sell experience, ideally at a product-product led growth or SaaS business
  • You enjoy consultative selling and diving headfirst into learning new technologies and how they can be applied to customer problems
  • You use data for storytelling as well as identifying and collaborating on priorities
  • You get things done and can take projects from ideas to reality
  • You take ownership of your work and prefer to work remotely and asynchronously. We’re a remote-first company with a bias for fewer meetings, fewer interruptions, and more time spent on deep work

Bonus Points

  • Prior startup experience is a plus, ideally in the B2B SaaS space or IoT space
  • Ability to assess customer needs in real-time and provide back a vision for where IoT can take them
  • Consultative sales experience
