Vector Technical' s partner in Cleveland, Oh has been providing quality products and services to the HVAC and Construction marketplaces. They are looking for a Sales Manager to join their team in Columbus Ohio!

Direct Hire
Base plus commissions and bonuses = $120k - $150k

Job Summary:
The Columbus Sales Manager candidate will develop strategic plans, prepare budgets, coordinate sales training programs, direct sales activities, and ensure company sales goals are achieved.

Essential Functions:
  • Encourages, motivates, mentors, and provides coaching to the sales team.
  • Researches new markets and uses the data to forecast sales, set performance goals, review strategies to increase revenue, and set operating budgets.
  • Devises and implements new business initiatives and sales strategies and monitors their effectiveness.
  • Ensures effective training programs for Outside and Inside Sales Representatives, assigning Sales Representatives to various territories, and setting their sales goals,
revenue targets, and key performance indicators.
  • Oversees Cleveland’s sales growth by evaluating sales reports and capitalizing on particular products or services.
  • Manages and supports Estimators, Warehouse personnel, and Marketing staff.
  • Increases the efficiency of business procedures by meeting with operational and sourcing departments where applicable.
  • Assesses the sales team’s performance and oversees the performance management of underperforming staff members.
  • Presents quarterly and annual sales results to the management team.
  • Monitors the sales activities of competitors.
  • Supports all accounts with the sales team and negotiates contract agreements with customers.
  • Presents the company’s products and services at conferences and events as needed.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oversight and management of people and projects in a similar role.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Driven, reliable, self- managed individual with excessive attention to detail.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to problem solve and adapt to meet the needs of our customers and team in a timely manner.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead in a team environment.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
