The Sales Data Analyst shall be responsible for maintaining data storage, assessing database design; and gathering, organizing and interpreting statistical information based on the data in the database. The Senior Data Analyst will oversee data production for the assigned departments and will ensure the quality of the data produced.

The responsibilities of the Sales Data Analyst will be to design, maintain, update and control Harmony Senior Services (HSS) database and analyze all information requirements, develop database specifications and enforce database standards in accordance with current existing federal, state, and local standards, as well as in accordance with Harmony Senior Services established policies and procedures.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

· Champions the values and culture of Harmony Senior Services while fostering an environment that makes customer service a top priority.

· Interacts with HSS information systems on a daily basis (YARDI & ADP).

· Develops new scripts (SQL) and Excel reporting templates.

· Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports.

· Assists with development of yearly operational budgets.

· Advises, plans, develops, and implements organizational changes.

· Oversees database development and modification efforts.

· Designs and implements secure, efficient, and accurate databases.

· Maintains current and accurate knowledge of data storage and management best practices.

· Ensures that databases are designed to meet specifications and requirements.

· Ensures that data base projects are completed on time.

· Develops and maintains documentation and standards.

· Assists other Analysts to identify and resolve production and/or applications to development problems related to the use of the database management system software or utilities.

· Gathers, organizes, and interprets statistical data from the database to provide reports to, and answer questions from management.

· Serves as the point person for data-relate tasks on an assigned projects.

· Assist in training, documenting and fielding Ad-hoc related business field questions and assists with customer-required process reviews.

· Assists in the development of guidelines for database training for end users.

· Monitors system performance, assists with peripheral modules, and managing updates.

· Writes alerts and hosts webinars regarding new/changing technologies, systems, or standards, and also reiterating existing ones.

· Uses data to create models that depict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Strong business acumen and understanding of accounting/finance to the degree necessary to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations.

· Proficient in business intelligence and analytical tools. (SQL, PowerBI, Talbleau, etc.).

· Strong statistical programming background with Python or R (preferred).

· High comfort level with systems and ability to design reports.

· Understanding of computer languages, database design and construction.

· Excellent knowledge of data preparation procedures and requirements.

· Reasonable comfort level with communication to HSS associates with the ability to train and support system topics.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong critical thinking, analytical design skills with a focus with attention to detail.

Education/Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business technology, or computer science/engineering.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.

· Advanced skill in Excel with significant knowledge of formulas, visual basic, and creation/manipulation of complex workbooks.

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a data analyst role.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
