Overview:
  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package for RAs with excellent benefits and hourly wages ranging from $20.90 - $26 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on related experience.
    Shift differentials are additional pay for evening/overnight shifts worked.

We offer an age-in place model, where our residents choose apartments and services based on their needs.

We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide who would be responsible for providing personal cares and designated health services to enhance and/or maintain the senior residents’ physical and emotional well-being.

This full-time caregiver schedule includes:
  • 40 hours in two weeks
  • Evening Shift; Shift differential of additional $1 per hour
  • E/O weekend rotation and holiday rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description:
  • Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
  • Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
  • Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
  • Assists with onboarding of new staff
Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Ability to communicate optimally, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers
  • Ability to work in a team setting and support others
  • Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
  • CNA certificated if under 18

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

  • High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course
  • Previous work experience as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, PCA
