POSITION: Renovation Construction Manager

Opportunity:

To oversee and complete renovations of single-family homes in a portfolio of ~300 affordable homes in the Saint Louis metro for Purpose Residential, Whitestone’s wholly owned property management firm. We are looking for a go-getter who is tired of the internal politics and bias’s that are structured from the top down.

Whitestone & Co. is recruiting a Renovation Construction Manager:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Renovation Construction Manager for our property management team that can organize and execute the renovation of our vacant Single Family Rental homes. Our portfolio of projects includes single family homes that need to be renovated and rented as part of a larger portfolio of stabilized homes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Inspect properties and build a scope of work in accordance with our quality standards, for vendors to bid and work on.

· Build teams and cultivate and maintain vendor network to complete work in a timely manner.

· Work with multiple vendors daily to maintain schedules for completion with the leasing department.

· Ensure vendors’ and teams’ quality of work being done on each project remains exceptional.

· Communicate frequently with both the Property Management team and Leasing team to execute the goals of the Owners and Property Managers.

· Make frequent site visits of current projects to assure quality standards.

· Visit project sites to ensure and document completion of scopes of work.

· Review and negotiate estimates submitted by vendors to complete property scopes.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· 5 years of construction/renovation experience.

· Expert in construction project management, financials, processes, and administration.

· Strong computer and technology skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.

· Ability to effectively execute and manage Property Management Software.

· Experience in rental property management.

· Experience in Section 8/Voucher Housing renovation processes.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $81,000.00 per year
