onehome is looking for Registered Nurses (RN) in the Coral Springs, Parkland, Margate FL area to work for our home health agency on a PRN basis. Registered Nurses are critical team members of a patient’s treatment team who provide skilled nursing visits in the patient’s home under the direction of the plan of treatment established with physician and input from patient/caregiver. Provides supervision for Home Health Aide and LVN as needed. Specific responsibilities may include dressing, bathing, IV therapy, medication management, and wound care.

Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

• Traveling to patients' homes to provide nursing services.
• Participates in ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of the patient
• Measure and administer medication, as prescribed
• Counsels and educates the patient and family in meeting healthcare related needs
• Receives and transcribes physician orders
• Document all appropriate observations and treatments according to company policy and procedure
• Complies with all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to HIPPA Privacy rule
• Communicates with all physicians involved in the plan of care and other health care practitioners (as appropriate) related to the current plan of care
• Listen and respond to any patient requests and concerns
• Effectively communicates with other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team providing care to promote coordination of patient care and planning for discharge
• Accepts only those assignments for which they are qualified

Skills/Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Currently licensed in the state of Texas
• CPR Certification with American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Ability to travel to patient homes
• Home health experience preferred
