Regional OTR Truck Driver – Class A CDL

American Wood Fibers (AWF) is a manufacturer of both consumer and industrial products that are sold to multiple manufacturers as well as pet, agricultural, and home-heating markets. AWF is comprised of 450+ employees and holds operations at 11 locations, generating over $100M in annual sales revenue. We are currently seeking a candidate for the Regional OTR Truck Driver with CDL Class A role in the Pella, IA.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver and pick up bulk/packaged material from suppliers or to customers in a safe, legal, and fuel-efficient manner
• Assist with loading or unloading of trailer using walking floor and sometimes pallet jack
• Work with dispatcher on scheduling and providing feedback regarding changes
• Required to stay up to date with commercial driving regulations and required skills to perform the driving position
• Must be able to climb ladder and roll/unroll tarps

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Ability to speak and read the English language
• Requires to be out up to 4 nights a week, but home every weekend
• CDL Class A required

EXPERIENCE LEVEL

• Minimum of 1 year of driving experience with a clean driving record required

COMPENSATION

• Paid mileage and hourly
• Average: $66,560 per year

SCHEDULE

• Requires to be out up to 4 nights a week, but home every weekend
• Drivers average 2,000-2,500 miles and 20 non-driving hours per week
• Company provides new tractors with sleepers
