Requirements:

  • BCBA or BCBA-D
  • Face-to-face hours with staff/families (Living in the SJV area)
  • Minimum five years of experience and advanced training in Applied Behavior Analysis (including fluency in the use of Verbal Behavior/VB-MAPP, PRT, NET and discrete trial methods; direct staff training and supervision; and EIBI).
  • Experience supervising multiple levels of staff, developing and implement staff training, ability to inspire, motivate, elevate and mentor individuals.
  • Providing both services wither it be in an in-home, telehealth or community setting.
  • Experience leading and growing teams (as determined by CLASS leadership)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, extensive experience working with a wide variety of family systems, funding sources, and ability to cultivate alliances and relationships within the field. Ability to provide feedback and constructive criticism, conduct fidelity checks and hold employee performance reviews.
  • Display clear and concise communication with executive staff, supervisory staff and therapists. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor utilizing solution-based language. Possess exceptional collaboration skills with colleagues and superiors to meet individual and corporate goals. Provide direct, honest and respectful solutions, strategies and opinions.
  • Be willing to work as part of a cohesive team who embraces change and challenge as positive

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Have intimate knowledge of funding sources and contacts in your area
  • Knowledge, drive and enthusiasm for expanding CLASS into a new region
  • Oversee Clinical Directors and Clinical Managers within assigned region. Work in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Operations (DCO) to ensure new insurance business is handled.
  • Build new, nurture existing relationships with funding sources (to include Regional Centers and school districts) and client caregivers.
  • Assist in making administrative decisions regarding the need to expand to new area as well as participate in hiring new BCBA/s for the area.
  • Assist in the development of new company clinical procedures and the dissemination of these new procedures as discussed with and approved by executive team. Complete working manuals/documents as assigned for clinical procedures.
  • Encourage a sense of community at any give opportunity within the organization (Autism Speaks, company gatherings, philanthropic events, etc.).
  • When needed, provide coverage for BCBA's or mid-levels (e.g., due to unforeseen illness, vacation).
  • Meet with executive team regularly to assess clinical and administrative operations. Assist in forecasting/projections for region.

Candidates MUST have reliable transportation, a valid California driver's license and insurance, as you are expected to drive as a requirement of the job. Employees must also provide CLASS with immunization records, CPR Certification, and complete a background check for our company upon hire.
