Duties/Responsibilities
- Working in a team environment to support the Quality Functions.
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), including the development and/or compilation of: Process Flow Diagrams
Process FMEAs
Control Plans
Inspection Check Sheets
Dimensional Inspection Reports
Material Testing Results
Material Certifications
Measurement System Analyses
Statistical Process Control and Capability Analyses
Run @ Rate
Cleanliness Testing / Millipore Testing
Qualified Laboratory Documentation
IMDS
CQIs
Part Submission Warrants
Supplier PPAPs
Packaging Plans
- Structured Problem Solving, including: Root Cause Analysis
Fishbone Diagrams
5 Why (3 Legged 5 Why)
8 Discipline Problem Resolution
Design of Experiments
- Development of Work Instruction and Procedures
- Internal Auditing (ISO 9001 & IATF 16949)
- Support Quality Technicians with technical knowledge in inspection techniques, gages, gage development, and inspection tools.
- Inspect Products (where necessary)
- REQUIREMENTS:
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Technical training through ASQ or technical consultants
Certification as QE
Ability to read blueprints/drawings
Thorough knowledge of GD&T
Ability To Use Inspection Devices, Including
Micrometers
Calipers
Height Gages
Indicators
Optical Comparators
Surface Finish Gages (Profilometers)
Misc. Surface Plate Inspection Devices
Skills, Knowledge, Or Abilities
Read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
Proficiency in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite of Products, including:
Excel
PowerPoint
Project
Word
Outlook
Experience Required
Minimum of 3 years as a QE,
Automotive industry exposure,
High Volume Products,
Knowledge of Plex ERP helpful
Knowledge of CMM helpful with programming a huge plus.
Maneuvers in, around, under, and about factory and/or laboratory equipment and machinery on a regular and continuous basis.
Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations, ability to lift, push or pull 25 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
