The Position:

We are looking for a passionate Program Director to assist with oversight of Kauai Adult Day Health. The Program Director is responsible for the following duties:

  • Directs and manages day-to-day program operations, including team member supervision, marketing, coordination of various programs and participant services.
  • Evaluates and implements Adult Day Health Program to meet needs (physical, cognitive, psychosocial), interests, abilities, routines, and preferences of each participant.
  • Provides tours and program information to prospective clients and community agencies. Screens prospective clients and conducts pre-admission interviews.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, social work, or similar field preferred. Or Bachelor’s Degree in unrelated field with a minimum of two years’ experience in similar role.
  • Two years (within past 5 years) of related experience in social or recreational program working with impaired persons.
  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current and valid CPR and First Aid.
  • Current and valid Driver’s license.
