You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience performing hardware analysis and evaluations, and recommending tactical hardware, including Client, Server, Storage, or Network tactical hardware
  • Experience supporting customer hardware requests and CM for client, server, and network hardware configurations, and providing support for fielded platforms
  • Experience performing CM services in support of computing products and devices, servers, clients, storage devices, and wireless systems as per hardware and product evaluation and demonstration efforts
  • Experience with the Army Acquisition Command
  • Experience working in both a team environment and individually to complete tasks within a timeline
  • Experience supporting the development of contracting proposals, document reviews, and technical specifications
  • Knowledge of acquisition processes and procedures for procuring equipment and services in support of Army requirements
  • Knowledge of tactical systems and hardware expertise to conduct weekly Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings in support of Common Hardware Systems customers to enable system requirements development, integration, and hardware procurement
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

  • Knowledge of Army’s Secure wireless capabilities, and Infrastructure and Network
  • Knowledge of Army's Tactical Network modernization efforts
  • Ability to support customer and vendor meetings and teleconferences to provide technical oversight, review hardware configurations, hardware updates and upgrades, order status, and End-Of-Life (EOL) notifications and changes
  • Ability to provide project planning and execution, strategic development of the projects’ long and short-term priorities for hardware evaluation, enhancements, and status of projects
  • Ability to develop lab demonstrations and proofs-of-concept, evaluate hardware and applications, conduct Research and Development (R&D), test new cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, including Service Oriented Architecture framework and associated design techniques, and direct development of vendor commercial products and models of both functional and technical processes
  • Ability to provide Defense Industry technical expertise in support of working with vendors and engineers, and strategic industry experts to evaluate hardware solutions for the tactical environment that provide support to the soldier with the best possible cost-effective technology
  • Bachelor's degree
  • VMWare VCA, Microsoft MCSE, Linux Administration CSA, or Cisco CCNP Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
