WOW Logistics is now hiring for a Process Analyst – Project Planning and Implementation!

As a founding member, this project leadership role, will be a critical part of the Project Planning and Implementation (PPI) Team. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Process Analyst, with an extensive background in preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining all documentation required to set-up new operations from start-up to stabilization.

As a key stakeholder in the documentation process, you will be leading the express objective of developing, revising, and standardizing documentation leading to outstanding training, resulting in improving margins and reducing operational costs.

This position will be based out of the Corporate Office, dedicating 35-45% of their time to traveling to new Distribution Centers (DCs). If required, this position, at times, will be conducting office training to new operations positions (Distribution Center Managers, Leads and Supervisors), auditing and developing DC office processes and systems. This position will report directly to the VP - PPI, with the reporting structure subject to change in future.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the solutions design, implementation, and Go Live to Steady State phases of the new facility launches for the new/existing customers
  • Gathers and analyzes the process and system information from various sources for SOPs, SWIs and Job Aids creation
  • Participates in User Acceptance Testing of new User system enhancements on the WMS and custom featured developed internally to document changes in a timely fashion for new contract operations
  • Develops standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and training documentation required to train the office and floor employees to run the operations effectively and efficiently
  • Works closely with clients and the business to identify and develop core business processes and workflows using process flow diagrams/Cross functional Swim Lane flows
  • Leads the documentation of workflows, process diagrams, information hand offs with the warehouse, as required during different phases of the project
  • Helps in updating and maintaining SOPs, Job Aids, SWIs (Operations, Food Safety, & Employee Safety)
  • Leads change control process and ensures Operations & Trainers have the latest/updated controlled & released SOPs only. Maintains a log of changes requested. Archives the old version
  • Partner with Quality control department, Business Process Analyst, Engineering to stay abreast with the templates and standard practices along with changes in flow and processes that need to be followed while developing SOPs/SWI and other documentation
  • Maintains and audits site and/or customer specific workflows and requirements. Audit office processes and systems on the floor & providing feedback based on findings
  • Continuous improvement of current process and procedures
  • Reviews and approves SharePoint uploads and SOP updates
  • Maintaining general OSHA and food safety knowledge for administrative support as needed, including completion of HACCP certification
  • Be the primary resource for operations in creating & documenting any missing SOPs during Go-Live and Hyper care
  • Stay current on newest tools, practices & industry standards used in warehouses from documentation standpoint and suggest those as a part of continuous improvement mindset
  • Support & provide training to front line management on SWI/SOPs Management process, Revisions and Database
  • Help Train the Trainers by developing and providing latest revisions of Process Flows, SOPs, SWIs, Job Aids needed
  • Training new Leads, Supervisors and Distribution Center Managers at times when trainers are not available

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Writing or Technical Communication or similar Process Analytics or Supply Chain Analyst
  • 3-5 years of experience in developing, documenting, updating, and managing Process flows, SOPs/SWIS, Job aids, during the design, implementation & Go-Live to Steady State phase
  • 1-2 years of the training experience in a warehousing/supply chain industry will be a plus
  • Experience working & interfacing at all levels of Organization as well as with Customer
  • Must be detail-oriented and well organized; excellent written, listening, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong MS Office Skills: including Word, Excel, Visio and Outlook is a must
  • Knowledge and experience working with SharePoint, Smartsheets, OneNote is a plus
  • Self-driven, Self-Starter with ability to handle projects with minimum supervision
  • Multi-tasking and flexible to adapt to fast changing requirements
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, self-manage, and successfully balance multiple tasks and requests to meet project deadlines
  • Must have a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be flexible and patient to work in an ambiguous environment
  • Willing to travel as necessary to all locations
