SUMMARY

Subject matter expert on UVS pricing. Works directly with Director of UVS Finance to research and assign market values for core used vehicle assets. Evaluate used truck pricing and inventory trends using various internal statistical modeling tools, external industry publications and economic data, and competitor pricing data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Evaluate used truck pricing and inventory trends using various internal statistical modeling tools, external industry publications and economic data, and competitor pricing data.
  • Identify fast/slow moving inventory and provide recommendations for appropriate price points.
  • Provide financial and analytical support for projects requested by senior leadership.
  • Ad hoc analysis on various assignments, guided towards improving the bottom line and the company’s return.
  • Manage a team of pricing analysts and provide guidance through all the system adjustments and improvements need to keep the pricing organization agile and in tune with the market dynamics.
  • Assist in creating Key Performance Indicators that will enhance understanding of drivers within the business.
  • Assist with maintenance and improvement of pricing dashboards.
  • Participate in quarterly pricing meetings.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As needed, act as Scrum Product Owner for the UVS organization on assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to identify opportunities to increase exposure on identified assets
  • Performs other duties as assigned

SKILLS

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • MS Excel work with formulas, data tables, SQL and Power BI.
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide input on market trends and provide pricing guidance
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Statistical modeling tools; advanced level; preferred.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree Finance, IT, Data Science or related field experience (MBA preferred).

EXPERIENCE

  • Five (5) years or more experience leading IT projects with ability to learn business side
  • Three (3) years or more experience evaluating pricing and inventory trends preferred

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $88k to $130k.

Salaries may be supplemented with a bonus as applicable and/or as business conditions allow.
