Payroll Specialist Job at Vaco
Vaco Los Angeles is working with an amazing company, who is looking to add a payroll specialist to their team. This position requires the preparation, processing, and maintenance of full payroll cycle.
This role is currently a hybrid in Los Angeles
Duties and Responsibility:
- Processing payroll for employees accurately and on time.
- Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Calculating and recording payroll deductions, taxes, and benefits.
- Reconciling payroll accounts and preparing reports for management.
- Answering employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and taxes.
- Verifying the accuracy of employee time and attendance records.
- Setting up new employees in the payroll system and ensuring that all required documentation is complete.
- Handling payroll-related changes, such as salary increases, promotions, and terminations.
- Collaborating with the HR team to ensure that employee information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Staying up-to-date on changes in payroll regulations and laws.
Qualifications/Must Have:
- Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled at decision-making and problem-solving
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
