We have 2 openings for a Patient Coordinator position - must be willing to work in both Oak Brook and Woodridge locations.

Hours are:

Monday - Thursday 1:30pm - 7:30pm

every other Saturday 8:30am - 2:30pm

Multi-disciplinary behavioral health private practice is seeking a P/T Patient Coordinator to perform billing and administrative duties. Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years customer service and computer skills, a professional, positive attitude, and be organized, detail-oriented, and dependable. Great team working environment.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of JEM Policies and Procedures as outlined in the Administration Support Policy Binder.
  • Provides administrative support for answering phones.
  • Assist patients in scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments, both at the front desk and via phone

· Collects patient paperwork, credit card updates, insurance policy updates as needed.

· Assists general admin duties which include patient check-ins, managing clinician schedules and processing payments.

  • Performs general administrative duties including faxing, filing, scanning, making copies.
  • Assists with daily upkeep of the front office.
  • Provides backup support for New Patient Intakes, when needed.
  • Assists with In House Referrals according to policy.
  • Assists with patient placement for clinicians transitioning in or out of the practice.
  • Provides backup support for Billing – assist with Aging Report, insurance calls, patient calls related to account balances, when needed.
  • Assists with Verification of Benefits.
  • Assists with ensuring that Credit Card information, Policy coverage and New Patient Paperwork are active and on file for all patients.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience

Experience:

At least 3-5 years prior billing experience (Required)

Must be knowledgeable about insurance terminology, PPO vs HMO, benefits and coverage, etc.

COMPENSATION for Full Time Employees:

Hourly: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, this is a W2 position
