Job Summary
The Parts Runner/Helper is responsible for assisting Appliance Technicians in receiving the correct parts to complete repairs in the field. The Parts Runner/Helper will deliver parts to Appliance Technicians in the field from our warehouse location in Robinson Township and different vendor locations in the Pittsburgh area. The Parts Runner/Helper will work directly with Parts Customer Service Representatives, Parts Warehouse Representatives, Appliance Technicians and other departments to ensure the proper delivery of parts to the field.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick up parts at various vendors or store locations
- Deliver parts and/or tools to field technicians
- Assist field technicians during repairs by lifting and moving appliances
- Pick up and deliver vehicles to/from repair facilities
- Assist the service department by moving vehicles as needed
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Pittsburgh and surrounding area
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- Clean driving record
- Class C Driver's License
