Partnership Manager Job at Uber

Uber Chicago, IL 60607

$96,500 a year
About the Role

Uber Health is expanding beyond transportation to become a one-stop shop where healthcare organizations can request any logistics care they need for their patients. One of the ways we’re doing so is through partnerships, incorporating third parties into our technology to enable customers to access services beyond Uber’s native mobility and delivery solutions. Uber Health is looking for a Partner Development Manager to grow Uber Health’s strategic network partners, suppliers and vendor partners to improve business impact.

This self-motivated individual contributor sits at the intersection of a number of teams in a highly cross-functional and visible role. The Partner Development Manager will collaborate internally with business development, account management, product, engineering marketing, operations, legal and support. Externally, they will represent the face of Uber Health to our business partners. The ideal candidate thrives in an ambiguous environment and can figure out what needs to be done next when a playbook may not already exist.

This role is open to fully remote candidates

What You'll Do

  • Support partnership launches as needed, working with cross functional teams to ensure we meet contractual obligations and our partners meet their obligations
  • Supervise and optimize performance metrics of partners. You’ll always know how our partnerships are performing and why, and will develop ideas about how to improve them
  • Lead overall enterprise relationships; many of our partners have multiple programs across different parts of our business, so you’ll have visibility into all partner touch points, and will identify opportunities for holistic value exchange
  • Strategically align with partners to develop and execute long-term partner growth strategies, which may encompass geographic expansion, net-new deals, and non-deal-related growth initiatives
  • Responsible for negotiating renewals, amendments and expansions with network partners, suppliers, and vendor partners
  • Enable cross-functional colleagues to effectively leverage and / or sell partner solutions effectively
  • Set up and maintain a high bar for measurable performance and execution, aligning to wider company goals and objectives and key results (OKRs), ultimately growing our business by increasing revenue through these network partners, suppliers and vendor partners

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in account management, client services, program management, or operations experience
  • Extremely proactive, self-starter with strong project management and execution skills
  • A strategic thinker with effective communication and influence skills, while still being a strong tactical implementer
  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within the U.S. healthcare industry with a firm understanding of payers, providers, healthcare trends, and regulatory requirements
  • Comfort with ambiguity. You are unfazed by executing on projects where all the information is not always available and priorities can change as more data comes to bear.
  • Balance attention to detail with swift execution. We need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength
