Cash Register Duties
- Operate the cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and make/provide change for purchases.
- Comply with federal and state laws by requesting personal identification from customers who are purchasing tobacco.
- Greet customers and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for all customers. Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
- Expected to work with partner on a daily basis, without issues.
- Expected to complete nightly cleaning tasks, as well as any other tasks asked of the associate.
Additional Duties
- Prepare breakfast sandwiches nightly as well as prepare kaiser rolls/bagels for sale.
- Prepare coffee nightly.
Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests accurately.
- Prepares food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner.
- Check products in sandwich unit area and restock items to ensure enough supply throughout the shift.
- Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
