Responsibilities
Our Outdoor Sports Manager is primarily responsible for developing and administering Outdoor Sports programs and supervising administrative and guiding staff. As a leader, you will select, train, and manage the performance of the Outdoor Sports and Racquet Sports Staff.

Other duties include:

  • Ensuring that all facilities and equipment used by the Outdoor Sports and Racquet Sports departments are maintained according to Canyon Ranch Standards.
  • Lead the creation and management of the revenue, payroll, and expense budget for the Outdoor Sports and Racquet Sports Departments.
  • Responsible for reporting/updates on revenue, and utilizing daily, weekly and monthly revenue reports.
  • Participate on the Outdoor Sports schedule as a means of staff review, customer connection, and quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Have extensive experience with local hiking trails and biking routes.
  • Obtain and/or maintain all certifications and all licenses as required by the outdoor sports department including: CPR and First Aid certification within one month of employment.
  • Possess a valid state issued driver’s license with no moving violations for the previous three years.
  • Have a great understanding of proper hiking and biking guiding techniques, and also have a basic understanding of Tennis and Pickleball.
  • Have excellent leadership and communication skills, and strong organizational, administrative and management skills.
  • Work effectively with a variety of personality types.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $57,500.00 per year
