Virtual Sales Representative (Outbound Sales Representative)


We are looking for self-motivated individuals to join our fast-paced virtual sales team. These individuals must demonstrate enthusiasm, persistence, resourcefulness, and be goal oriented. These individuals must excel in a team environment. What You Will Be Doing

  • Through outbound calls, you will be supporting our Bank's culture and client-friendly environment by speaking with clients in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner in order to develop trust with the client.
  • You will be expanding client relationships and educating clients on additional services.
  • You will be focused on retaining and growing existing client relationships and obtaining new ones by conducting outbound calls on maturing accounts, following up on leads, referrals, and other prospecting opportunities.
  • You'll contribute to the Bank's success by identifying sales opportunities and referring clients to the appropriate area.
  • You'll be actively working to achieve individual and team goals including phone calls, referrals, and sales goals.
  • Systems on-hand will track your activities and will consistently maintain an accurate accounting of calls, referrals, and opportunities.
  • You'll work in a team environment and partner with internal teams to drive client results.
  • Grow and develop your knowledge of the financial industry through ongoing product training, corporate communications, and First Bank Leadership.

  • Proven successful sales skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, working in a team environment
  • Business related written and verbal communication skills, for use in a professional environment
  • Analytical skills to review client profile needs and enhance the client experience
  • Build trust and engage clients via phone conversations
  • Present financial solutions, based on customer needs, that meet their goals
  • Manage the life cycle of a loan and pipeline including complying with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Problem solve, prioritize tasks, and meet required deadlines
  • Review and utilize Microsoft Office products and other technology platforms
  • Utilize the telephone for "cold calling" to secure qualified leads

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 12 months of successful sales and/or banking experience preferred
  • Proficient in a "consultative" sales approach
  • Adhere to all Sales Activity Management Plans and Minimum Performance Expectations for the role
  • NMLS registered or NMLS registered within 30 days of hire
  • Multi-lingual, a plus
