As a Packaging Operator, you’ll be preparing Cheez-It, the #1 cracker at our bakery facility in Kansas City. You will also collaborate with many diverse people and perspectives as you share in our values and culture. To be successful in this role, you could certainly use two scoops of communication skills and a bowl full of attention to detail. With your can-do, go-getter, team-player work ethic, we are positive you will fit right in!


As a Packaging Operator, you will be starting at $22.99/hour and further rate increase after 6 months! Eligibility to receive full benefits to begin after 30 days. Our benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision and Matching 401 (k). The package allows for potential vacation accrual every 90 days within the 1st year of service and amazing premium pay!


HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING


  • Packing with Care
    – Prepare our finished products in accordance with prescribed packaging procedures. You’ll take particular care in high-quality packing of finished goods. We want to see your passion for precision and vision for success!
  • Operating Machinery – Work with computer-controlled equipment or mechanically-based machines. You will clean and prepare machines for production, along with assembling and disassembling equipment. Your talent for all things technical will ensure they are set up properly, working well and producing quality products.
  • Managing Machine Performance – Ensure machines are stocked and working at full capacity. As a meticulous worker, you’ll take care to keep our machines well-maintained as you perform periodic checks while inspecting products.
  • Following Best Practices – Adhere to good manufacturing practices as you prepare equipment for production. You’ll use all the right safety precautions as you support our efforts to create great snacks for our consumers.


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS


  • Ability to stand for long hours and lift a maximum of fifty pounds at or above the waist
  • Must be flexible with work scheduling on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift as well as overtime and holidays
  • Effective communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting or a related position
