Nurse Practitioner - Full Time General Surgery Clinic 8am - 5pm Job at Moore County Hospital District

This is a Full-Time position.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- The Nurse Practitioner works as part of the clinic provider team performing a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation, and monitoring the general patient management plan for clinic patients.
- The Nurse Practitioner performs these functions under the oversight of a licensed physician in a primary health care setting.
EDUCATIONAL/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of Accredited School offering an Advanced Degree in Nurse
- Practice (ARNP) required.
- Board certification in specialty (if newly graduated from residency,
- Must be obtained within 3 years of graduation) must be kept current.
- Unrestricted license to practice within Texas
- Current DEA certificate without restriction
- PALS or NRP, ACLS may be required
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 3-5 years experience preferred.
