A sweet family in Newport desires a Full-time Nanny/House Assistant for their 2 year old - 40 Hours a week!
Looking for someone wonderful to join this fantastic family in Newport! Child Development courses are taken and at least 5+ Years of Experience. Preference is given to applicants with extensive toddler care experience. Background in daycares or preschools is a plus! The ideal candidate is sweet, caring, and helpful. Understands Sensory play and Arts and Crafts for toddlers. Help with taking him to parks, playing, activities, reading/teaching, helping mom around home, meal prep (some cooking), organize home, errands, etc. CPR Trained and Certified. Covid Vaccinated preferred. Hours needed are Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 3 pm and Paid sick days and Major Holidays.
The family is looking for someone long-term. Pay is $25-$35/hour DOE and needs to have a driver's license to help drive children around for different occasions. Someone looking to grow with the family long-term. Light meal prep and light housekeeping for the children. You are mostly with the toddler - 2nd child is at school!
Nanny/House Assistant Duties:
- Schedule: 7:00am -3pm - Monday through Friday - Position is in Newport area.
- Pay: $25-$35/hour.
- Some date nights or weekends!
- Sensory Brain Development and play interaction for babies. Singing and reading, engaging with children. Take baby on walks and to parks.
- Light Meal Prep and Housekeeping - Help with laundry and dishes, tidying, and sweeping.
- Help with home management and errands/tasks. Some organizing of home and misc tasks.
- CPR Certified.
- Covid Vaccination is preferred. The family is vaccinated.
Many Toddler care specialists function as parent educators, teaching parenting proper and accepted baby care techniques. Toddler specialists typically are responsible for all the tasks related to the baby’s care, including bottle preparation (if needed), light meals, baby laundry and room organization.
