SCOPE OF POSITION
The MyChart Adoption Liaison will support Ballad Health’s strategic digital initiatives through collaboration across the organization and BHMA to increase the adoption and utilization of MyChart as a resource to enhance the experience for both our patients and team members. This individual will showcase professionalism and compassion in educating and effectively communicating with various end users. The MyChart Adoption Liaison will serve as an advocate for improvement processes and best practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in MyChart functionality and applications
  • Applies knowledge base of MyChart module to provide guidance, education and hands on training with end users
  • Explains/trains basic concepts and features of MyChart, identified for adoption by Leadership, in a clear and concise manner so team members understand utilization and are empowered in demonstrating and cascading instructions onto our patients as users
  • Builds strong relationships with each clinic, across various locations and specialties
  • Collaborates with BHMA executive team, regional directors, and onsite clinic team members to show organizational support in utilization adoption as a focus across the system
  • Able to motivate and encourage clinical team members in the adoption and optimization of MyChart features
  • Serves as an escalation point for end users and collaborates with MyChart IT team regarding application and workflow issues for resolution and/or system recommendations
  • Meets key performance metric expectations as identified by Ballad Health leadership
  • Able to manage the promotion of various key performance indicators among different specialties
10.Collaborates with Consumer Call Center in identifying and seizing
opportunities to convert inquiries into active MyChart accounts,
assisting patients for integration
11.Logs/Records interactions and training efforts
12.Continually monitors and provides reports/metrics on performance
progress
13.Effectively collaborates and communicates with leadership, clinical
staff and patients of varying backgrounds to obtain and convey specific information
14. Engage with providers to drive adoption at the point of care.
Incorporating change management and technology adoption to drive
cultural and behavioral changes in a standard and efficient way to deliver the best possible care to our patients.
15. Develop patient experience plans that allow patients with limited
access to technology/devices the opportunity to identify information
that is important and relevant to the patient as well as providing the
means
16. Coordinates with Epic/MyChart IT team, Corporate Marketing and
Business Development on the need, design and implementation of training materials and messaging for team members and/or patient utilization materials
17. Strong leadership skills; in support of the organization’s needs and
overall ultimate success
18. Continuously familiarizes oneself with the breadth of services and
locations offered by Ballad Health facilities & BHMA’s clinics to promote and provide guidance both internally and externally as needed
19. Performs other duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Health Related, Information Technology or Business field required.
5+ years of customer service and/or marketing and sales experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
Experience with Epic and MyChart modules, or similar patient portals desired

Knowledge of:
Computer software applications and databases
HIPAA Laws and Regulations
