Position Summary

The MHE operator is responsible for operating a stand-up cherry picker with the attached harness.
Must move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
The MHE operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform receiving/put away, picking, loading, unloading and other warehouse duties
Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a sit-down forklift with a single double attachment to load and unload trucks.


Job Duties

PICKING:
Pull and prepare the product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets company standards.
Transport picked items from the rack area onto a staging location.
Label items accordingly with matching P.O.s and SKUs


RESTOCKING:
Ensure the warehouse is stocked and ready for business every day. Load and unload trucks, move material from the receiving area throughout the warehouse, will operate MHE and perform critical functions for maintaining proper on-hand inventory for pickers. Ensuring shelves and storage areas are stocked with the right product.


LOADING:
Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers. Ensure all outbound pallets are labeled accordingly with the correct paperwork (BOL, PRO# & Carrier).


PARCEL:
Responsible for pulling the daily Emergency orders that ship through the parcel shipping lines. Accurately pick product quantities per picking & packing instructions. Ship order via correct parcel method and delivery date.


EQUIPMENT:
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product using an MHE
Inspect MHE or other equipment prior to use.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain work area clean and free of hazards.


ON-THE-JOB TRAINING REQUIRED:

  • Must be comfortable working with computers, facility is technology driven.
  • Ability to work with RF Scanner
  • Ability to lift 35-50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend or stretch repeatedly
  • Organize, pack, and load products for shipment in timely manner
  • Review all orders to determine if they were picked and packed correctly
  • Ensure that the warehouse and all work areas are maintained and cleaned on a regular basis
  • Stack or move pallets to designated area
  • Follow all safety procedures given and established
  • Knowledge of basic Warehouse Operations and Safety
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
