We are looking for full time, 40 hour front office Medical Practice Patient Representatives (Clerical Office Assistant) to join our team in Danbury! This is a very busy practice. *Heavy phone and patient volume* This is NOT a management role.

*Provides clerical and administrative support and coordinates the patient care activities for the physicians and practices.

$500 Sign on Bonus!

**Pay rate per years of experience** $16.00 - $23.00

Title: Medical Practice Patient Representative (Clerical Assistant) - FULL TIME ONLY - 40 hours per week! Amazing Health Benefits, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement!

Responsibilities:

• Ensures accuracy of patient's information, including demographics and insurance.
• Performs reception of customers and communicates pleasantly and effectively. Assures the patient is properly prepared for the scheduled visit to maintain timely patient flow. This includes assisting patients into gowns, having clinical paperwork, any needed supplies and educational materials immediately available for the provider use.
• Answers phones, routes calls, take messages, conveys information, and assures accurate communication.
• Registers, verifies and schedules patient appointments, testing, and referrals.
• Reschedules cancelled, no show, tickler appointments.
• Processes record requests, including the copying, billing, charging and recording.
• Collects co-pays and reconciles money for deposit.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Required: High School diploma/GED
• Excellent communication both in writing and orally.
