Overview:
Atlantic Health System is seeking per-diem Medical Office Associate for the AMG outpatient office at Atlantic Medical Group in Monmouth County.

Responsibilities:
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • The MOA will assume responsibility for front desk duties such as managing phones, checking in patients upon arrival, scheduling and confirming appointments, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, scanning documents into the electronic medical record, processing medical records releases, managing Industrial Practice Billing and Coding, ordering office supplies, and other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
  • High School Diploma required
Minimum Experience:
  • Prior administrative experience in a physician practice or medical office
  • Strong computer skills and front-line customer service skills essential
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products essential
  • Experience with an EMR system preferred
  • Ability travel to different practices if necessary
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate practice hours
  • Must be available to work evening shifts and rotating weekend shifts
