We are looking for a Medical Assistant with experience in surgery to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, assisting the surgeon during the procedure, and providing post-operative care. This position requires excellent communication skills and an ability to remain calm under pressure. The ideal candidate will also be knowledgeable about medical terminology and have strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgery.
- Assist surgeons during procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Maintain and restock supplies in the operating room.
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments.
- Monitor vital signs of patients during surgery.
- Provide post-operative care to patients.
- Assist with patient discharge instructions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
