responsibilities:
- Product design and documentation.
- Sheet metal design and layout.
- Researching, selecting, and validating components.
- Interface with suppliers and design for manufacturing and and assembly.
- Assist the Purchasing Department with supplier/component issues.
- Work closely with manufacturing to address any product design and function issues.
- Process, document and complete Engineering Change Notices/Requests.
- Provide support on New Product Development projects and tasks, as assigned.
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and/or the equivalent technical school degree required.
- Extensive experience in Solidworks.
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office software.
- Thorough understanding of electrical schematics and design.
- Organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
