Position: Material Handler
JOIN THE TEAM at American Plastic Toys in Walled Lake! We have been making children's toys for over 60 years that bring delight and fun worldwide! We are seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler in our Plastic Injection Molding area that will help support the equipment that creates the colorful plastic toy forms. Main Job Duties:
- Maintain material flow of plastic materials into the plastic injection molding machines.
- Change liquid color and maintain sufficient supply for plastic injection molding machines.
- Operate material handling forklift equipment.
- Clean oil from floor and machines
- Remove plastic runners.
- Collect any plastic parts from the floor and place in appropriate container.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, and comply with safety regulations and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 6 months of forklift experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Preferred: Experience with plastic injection molding.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
