Marketing & Events Officer Job at First Hawaiian Bank
First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an experienced, collaborative, organized Marketing & Events Officer to join our Marketing Communications Division. The Marketing & Events Officer is a key member of a dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and safeguarding FHB’s brand and reputation. The position reports to the Marketing Communications Division Manager and collaborates with the Advertising and Events teams on initiatives focused on promoting and enhancing FHB’s image, improving customer loyalty and enhancing customer engagement through helping execute branded events, partnerships and activations in Hawaii, and supporting the Advertising team’s marketing efforts in Guam and Saipan.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (hours may vary)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications and/or equivalent work experience required.
- 3 years’ experience in advertising and special events required.
- Marketing or Journalism degree with a minor in Business-related field preferred.
- Work experience in a financial industry preferred.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills essential.
- Proven successful collaborator among peers, colleagues, and various levels of employees.
- Able to plan, organize and budget.
- Able to handle confidential matters judiciously.
- Possesses strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple complex projects while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Able to multi-task and develop work arounds to keep projects on task.
- Proficient in using PC’s, and Microsoft 365.
- Able to type 40 wpm.
- Able to meet multiple deadlines; detail oriented.
