Job Summary:

The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and workflow of a content marketing editorial team and clearly communicates and executes the editorial vision and guidelines. the Content Marketing Manager is also responsible for defining, managing, optimizing and perfecting the processes of creating and curating an array of content for our website and other communication platforms such as e-mail and social media.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintains the editorial calendar and works cross-functionally within the organization to assess and prioritize content needs and deadlines

• Establishes and maintains work flow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing and retiring content

• Maintains editorial calendar, content inventory and other documentation

• Recruits, selects, and supervises external content resources; ensures timely resolution of issues and oversees integration of new contributors

• Ensures all deliverables adhere to standards for quality and performance, as measured in terms of editorial guidelines, usability, business metrics, search engine optimization (SEO) goals and production efficiencies

• Leverages market data to develop content themes/topics that educate customers and other target audiences

• Coordinates editorial integration across multiple experiences and distribution channels including syndication, social and mobile

• Three to four years of marketing, copywriting or editorial experience required

• A strong understanding of how content management systems work and the ability to quickly and efficiently post articles online.

• Demonstrated interest in digital marketing, user experience and search engine optimization strategy and execution

• Experience with and interest in developing and maintaining an active team of freelance writers and editors, and providing assistance with assigning, editing and revising written collateral.

• An understanding and familiarity with online performance metrics.

• Experience managing multiple complex projects, people and resources in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the Do-It-Yourself Repair industry
