BWC is currently operating under a hybrid schedule that can incorporate both teleworking and in-office hours. Employees may be required to report to the office when requested by management &/or for their initial job training.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze for accuracy and completeness, and process all UA3/UA4 PEO lease notifications for all self-insuring PEO/AEOs
  • Review all complaints filed by both injured workers and medical providers, work with the self-insured employer to resolve the issue, and assign to department auditor when needed
  • Analyze for accuracy and completeness all AC-2 authorization forms filed within the self-insured department. Make changes to the employer representative status in CoreSuite to ensure access for the authorized TPA and/or attorney
  • Prepare the audit schedule for the department by assigning the audits to each individual auditor and equally distributing the more complex Level 2 and Level 3 audits
  • Work with department underwriters to ensure all information required for policy renewals is being filed timely, follow-up with employers when needed, close out completed policy renewals and verify an updated certificate of coverage was sent to the self-insured employer

Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core program in business or public administration or related field of study.

  • Or 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in research & analysis & written documentation of findings.

  • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.


Knowledge:
of fiscal management (e.g., accounting, public budgeting); business administration; public administration; programs, operations, laws, rules & procedures of assigned agency*; operations research techniques or statistical techniques used in managerial decision-making process.

Skill: in operation of computers (e.g., desktop, laptop, tablet) & use of business office applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheet, database);

Ability: to deal with many variables & determine specific course of action; gather, collate & classify information about data, people or things; use proper research methods in gathering data; prepare meaningful, concise & accurate reports.

BWC OCSEA Selection Rights:

This position shall be filled in accordance with the provisions of the OCSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement. BWC bargaining unit members have selection rights before non-bargaining unit members. All other applications will only be considered if an internal bargaining unit applicant is not selected for this position.

Salary Information:
Unless required by legislation or union contract, candidates will start at lowest rate of the salary range associated with this position.

Transportation:
Position may require travel; therefore, persons occupying this position must be able to provide own transportation &/or legally operate a state-owned vehicle.

Educational Transcripts:
