Logistics Shipping Coordinator Job at Accent Professional Recruiting
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for setting up, monitoring, and coordinating all LTL, FTL, and volume freight. Monitoring includes ensuring all freight movements are picked up and delivered, and all freight invoices are paid per quotes. The Logistics Coordinator is also responsible for negotiating with carriers to reduce freight costs as well as submitting freight claims when appropriate. The Logistics Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining the Inbound Freight Reports and Certificates of Destruction for materials processed through the company. The Logistics Coordinator’s objectives are to provide excellent service to customers and vendors with regards to freight movements as well as ensuring all freight is tracked and invoiced correctly.
Requirements:
· Must be proficient in MS Excel
· Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
· Must be very organized
· Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Must have exceptional customer service and resolution skills
· 2+ years of experience in logistics preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
